Conclusion

In conclusion, I personally feel that Singapore Biennale has used most of the marketing mix effectively except for the Product and Packaging and Distribution mix. The product mix could have been better if the organisers ensured that there were enough copies of guidebooks to be distributed to every visitor. This would give customers a greater satisfaction that their needs were looked into meticulously. For distribution wise, they could have looked into more channels for their distributions instead of only having ticket booths at the venue itself. To reach out to more people, they might want to consider selling their tickets online via their websites or through a ticketing service provider.

Overall, i felt that the Singapore Biennale 2008 was a success because they managed to generate revenue that in return helped to boost the economy. By holding the event in Singapore, the country has gained more recognition as a country and that it is able to be transform itself as an Art hub - a platform for people to come together to discuss and share relevant information. This event has also branded itself well partly due to their partnership with recognised sponsors. Not only has this event helped the country economically, it has also allowed the locals to understand and have a better appreciation of art in its various forms.
